What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide personal care services as defined by the care plan under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Therapist
- Communicate status and condition changes to the healthcare team as per agency guidelines
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Maintain safety and compliance with infection control practices while delivering patient care
- Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner within the patient’s chart
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- Minimum of six (6) months' work experience in a supervised healthcare setting, preferably in home health care
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Active Florida Driver's License with proof of auto insurance and a good driving record
- Hands-on Basic Life Support (BLS) Card or CPR certification
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in home health care or skilled nursing facilities
- Additional certifications in specialized patient care
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Bilingual skills to assist a diverse patient population
