What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist nurses by performing basic care activities to meet patients' personal needs and comfort
- Dress, groom, bathe, feed, and record vital signs of patients
- Respond to call lights and assist with toileting, oral care, and other personal care tasks
- Administer medications as directed by a physician or nurse and document accordingly
- Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and change bed linens as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Certification as a Nurse Assistant or Home Health Care Aide as required by state licensure
- Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, and bending

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting as a caregiver or aide
- Familiarity with patient care protocols and safety procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
