What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach and develop online courses in public health using evidence-based instructional design
- Advise and mentor students in public health programs, promoting leadership and advocacy
- Engage in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and grant writing
- Contribute to curriculum innovation and assessment aligned with accreditation standards
- Participate in service and leadership at departmental and university levels
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctoral degree in public health or a related discipline (PhD, DrPH) or professional degree (MD, DO, DDS/DMD)
- Minimum of two years teaching experience in higher education or distance education
- Strong knowledge of public health principles and experience in practice, research, or education
- Evidence of scholarly productivity, including publications and presentations
- Excellent organizational, communication, and technology skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in public health
- Experience with online learning management systems (Canvas) and other distance education tools
