What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Post charges received through import and manually, adhering to correct coding guidelines
- Review encounter tracking to ensure all billing is captured accurately
- Communicate effectively with site managers to gather necessary information for billing
- Resolve billing issues through effective communication with physicians
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness in posting medical charges
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of five (5) years of medical billing and insurance claim filing experience
- Familiarity with medical billing software
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, ICD, and CPT codes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Coding Certification
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
