What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Gather historical information about children and write comprehensive narratives for documentation
- Contact case managers and foster parents to collect necessary information
- Review and ensure the completeness of documentation provided by various agencies
- Prepare and submit reports within required timelines, incorporating necessary revisions
- Attend required meetings and training sessions while completing additional assigned duties
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum of three years of experience in social services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong commitment to child permanency and confidentiality
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with child welfare cases or similar social services
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and electronic documentation systems
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding child welfare
- Demonstrated ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines effectively
