What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Gather historical information about a child and write a comprehensive narrative
- Contact referring case managers and interview relevant parties to collect necessary data
- Review and verify documentation, ensuring all required records are obtained
- Prepare and submit reports within required timelines after necessary revisions
- Attend meetings and trainings as required, while completing additional duties as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum of three years of experience in social services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong commitment to child permanency and confidentiality
- Must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in child welfare or related fields
- Familiarity with governmental agency documentation processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Subscription to and integration of the agency's Statement of Faith and Mission Statement
