      About the Role

      This position is for the role of CIB Business Enablement Senior Manager for CIB Front Office Delivery businesses in Wells Fargo I&P. The incumbent would be responsible for owning coverage and delivery across key enablement levers of automation, global delivery, and process improvement. The position reports to the COO Lead of CIB Front Office Delivery Teams in I&P and functionally aligns to the Global Head of CIB Business Enablement.

      Responsible for executing various business initiatives and provide strategic insights; ability to manage complex portfolio and transformation work: own the operational risk and governance practices of the group, and, in general, ensure smooth running of the overall business by collaborating and managing essential activities. The incumbent will lead the execution and end to end delivery of key initiatives, will actively participate in global strategy conversations, offshoring strategy, projects/ process enhancements and encourage creative thinking amongst the team.

      The incumbent will be responsible to effectively deliver in a matrixed organizational structure, and partner with leaders across the enterprise. The incumbent will drive these priorities across multiple businesses for CIB including Investment Banking Origination support, Equity Research, COO/business support activities, Commercial real Estate and Markets.

      The candidate will build front to back subject matter expertise to assist on complex, diverse and challenging strategic initiatives designed to improve processes, controls, workforce optimization, process intelligence and transition strategies.

      Key Responsibilities

      • The Senior Manager is responsible for cross functional projects / services and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity and risk. The incumbent will ensure smooth running and enable efficient and effective management of the processes.
      • Be responsible for a range of improvement services including Global delivery, Operational Excellence, Workflow tools and Automation and AI technologies.
      • Convert business problem statements into cost effective, scalable, reliable & user-friendly solutions
      • Oversee/track the implementation of new growth businesses and deliver the setting up of new capabilities
      • Engage with partners to conceptualize, agree and drive initiatives which add value to the business-like driving automation and idea generation, implementing cross-business best practices etc
      • Provide both technical and consulting perspective to business leaders at an appropriate level of information encapsulation.
      • Be responsible for team development and growth.
      • Be innovative and creative in delivering solutions. Have a growth mindset and be solution oriented.
      • Serve as a subject matter expert, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them.

      • Skills and Qualifications
      • Overall experience of 15 plus years with experience in, implementation, strategic planning, or similar roles in the financial services industry
      • Product knowledge of one or more CIB products and asset classes.
      • Master’s degree in business administration, finance or a similar field.
      • Proficient with various applications in Microsoft suite – Excel, access, word and power point. Experience in automation.
      • Has the ability to compile and analyze large data sets and present in effective manner.
      • Experience driving projects which leads to change, especially across business groups.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to simplify and present complex topics for easier understanding.
      • Location is Bangalore

      • Other Qualifications –
      • Experience in working GCC Banking environment would be beneficial
      • Ability to engage and build relationship with senior stakeholders in a matrix organization
      • Inquisitive in nature and can learn and understand business quickly and connect the dots between multiple initiatives.
      • Demonstrates a high degree of reliability, integrity, and trustworthiness in all areas
      • Takes ownership and accountability for responsibilities, business outcomes, and for management of risk exposure.
