      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Respond to first notice of potential claims from policyholders and provide appropriate advice for action
      - Collaborate with the Claims team to identify coverage issues and develop negotiation strategies
      - Prepare documentation, reports, and correspondence with policyholders, claimants, and attorneys
      - Manage and close incident, claim, and suit files in a timely manner
      - Participate in seminars, trainings, and meetings as requested

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required
      - Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in medical professional liability claims or risk management for the Claims & Patient Safety Specialist role
      - Minimum of five (5) years of experience handling medical professional liability claims for the Claims Analyst role
      - Valid driver's license required
      - Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) designation preferred
      - Understanding of clinical systems and hospital policies/procedures
      - Knowledge of governmental healthcare regulations
      - Ability to analyze medical records and quality issues
      - Proficiency in medical terminology
