What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide data-driven answers or solutions to business questions through assigned projects of moderate to high complexity
- Analyze and derive findings, identify impacts, and formulate ideas, options, and recommended actions
- Collaborate with internal business partners to translate business questions into actionable solutions
- Extract and transform data from various databases to perform analyses and develop data-driven solutions
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead related efforts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in analytical positions with demonstrated ability to provide reporting and analytics on moderately complex projects
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, business/data analytics, actuarial sciences, finance, or a related field
- Strong understanding of core insurance principles and business environment
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present data effectively
- Proficiency in SQL and business intelligence reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- Data Analyst Certification
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R
- Knowledge of basic statistics and basic machine learning techniques
- Prior experience in a property and casualty insurance environment
