Job Description
- Req#: CLAIM001017
- Follow up on unresolved claims within the standard billing cycle
- Investigate, identify, research, and appeal denied claims
- Ensure accuracy and quality work on a day-to-day basis
- Reliably meet deadlines in a high-volume setting
- Minimum 3 years of medical billing experience
- Strong medical billing A/R follow-up
- Experience with UB-04 billing
- Production-based focus, highly organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Understanding of medical terminology, medical billing practices, and billing reimbursement is essential
- Familiar with billing guidelines and regulations in various states; across government and non-government insurance carriers
- Strong computer and typing skills as well as insurance website/portal navigation
