      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage an inventory of claims and establish action plans based on case facts
      - Conduct investigations of claims to confirm coverage and eligibility
      - Assess policy coverage, notify insured parties of issues, and adjust reserves as necessary
      - Negotiate settlements within assigned authority limits to resolve claims
      - Perform additional duties as assigned to support claim management processes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
      - Minimum of 2 years' experience in claims adjustment, general insurance, or formal claims training
      - Required to obtain and maintain all applicable licenses
      - Knowledge of claims investigation techniques, medical terminology, and legal aspects of claims
      - Completion of continuing education courses leading to industry certifications preferred

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with industry certifications such as AEI, IIA, or CPCU
      - Familiarity with advanced claims management software and tools
