What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process new referrals by verifying patient eligibility and documenting relevant information
- Perform benefit verification for all patient insurance plans, including coverage of medications and services
- Calculate estimated patient financial responsibility based on benefit verification and payer contracts
- Initiate and secure prior authorizations and pre-determinations, including obtaining clinical documents
- Communicate with patients and referral sources regarding referral status and coverage updates

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of home infusion specialty pharmacy and/or medical intake/reimbursement experience
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines
- Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity expectations
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Familiarity with CPR+ software
- Experience in home infusion benefits verification
