      Overview

      Receives and files all Human Resources correspondence, including, but not limited to PAF’s, ZH100’s, Offer Letters, Transfer Letters, Compliance Acknowledgements, disciplinary actions, I9’s and other employee related material.

      Responsibilities

      • Accurately files all documents.
      • Ensures files are in good order for Joint Commission audit.
      • Ensures that all filing materials are filed in a timely manner.
      • Administrative Support, which includes, but not limited to, envelope stuffing for compliance related material (SAR’s, PBGC funding notifications).
      • Assists in the distribution of Open Enrollment Materials.
      • Works with Mailroom to ensure delivery of all HR notices.
      • Upkeep accurate departmental receiving and delivery filings (FED EX, Certified Receipt Requested).
      • Cognizant of the department rules, regulations and code of ethics and code of conduct.
      • Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.

      Qualifications

      Education:

      • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

      Experience:

      • Prior office experience preferred but not required.

      Knowledge and Skills:

      • Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
      • Must possess basic computer knowledge (Excel, MS Word etc.)
      • Basic ability to fully utilize BHMC’s automated systems and equipment as necessary.

      Physical Requirements:

      • Position requires prolonged periods of standing, reaching, walking throughout the working day.
      • Position will be required to stoop, bend, lift, and carry items weighing in excess of 25 pounds.
