- The achievement of the revenue, margins, and total contract value (TCV) targets identified for the Americas Communications & Media business
- Find growth pathways and plans to further deepen the Cognizant footprint within our client base
- Drive profitable growth of the account relationship through identifying and leading all aspects of the closure of new, renewal, and expansion opportunities
- Stewardship of the shift to selling industry solutions that bring together technology practice capabilities
- Collaborate and partner with business unit leadership to devise effective short and long-term plans
- Create goals that turn into tangible results
- Direct planning and execution of winning sales strategies on complex engagements that addresses stakeholder management, and competitive differentiation.
- Builds, directs, and inspires a diverse and multi-disciplinary team of client relationship managers
- Collaborate and support Markets and Delivery on customer concerns and troubleshoot delivery challenges
- Collaborate with Client Partners in the unit, and support new business acquisition in the Communications unit
- Must be a current Client Partner for Communications Market with specific industry background in North America
- Overall experience 20 years with minimum experience
- Sales Management experience of 5+ years
- Must have experience handling multiple clients, with proven success to rapidly grow business with a portfolio size of a minimum $150+ Million, and to rapidly scale an account to $100+M.
- Must have experience of building a diversified business portfolio across IT, Business Operations and Network buying centers
- Must have deep expertise in Telecom Operations, and experience using AI & Data in helping client’s build an efficient digital enterprise
- Must have experience in supporting the clients through their M&A and/or divestures and demonstrated ability of working with private equity invested companies to accelerate TSA exists.
- Candidate must have experience in complex deal creation applying consultative sales attributes, and leadership abilities
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to build, lead a diverse team and operate effectively in a highly matrixed organization
- Successful track record in building and leading successful teams
- Demonstrated ability to build and implement business strategies
- Master’s degree is preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to support CTO/CIO and senior level business partner discussions and relationships
- Strong strategic and business proficiency
- Articulates the company’s mission, vision, and objectives concisely that can speak to clients and employees at all levels

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $160,850.00 – $236,170.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
