What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collect, screen, and analyze data related to patient care quality and outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and coding staff to evaluate medical records
- Educate stakeholders on metrics and data requirements for patient care
- Review and validate clinical data, addressing outliers and opportunities for improvement
- Maintain knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Clinical Data Abstraction experience for the National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP) Registry
- Current NSQIP SCR Certification
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years' experience in a clinical setting
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail

- Ability to learn Microsoft Office products and various healthcare databases
- Strong communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working independently in a remote setting
