      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review medical records regularly to identify opportunities for clarifying missing or incomplete documentation
      - Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate comprehensive health record documentation
      - Utilize the clinical documentation system to conduct reviews and identify clarification opportunities
      - Provide education related to compliance, coding, and clinical documentation issues within the organization
      - Act as a consultant to coding professionals regarding necessary information or documentation for accurate coding

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
      - Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting
      - Registered Nurse license from the Kansas State Board of Nursing (KSBN) required
      - Advanced clinical expertise with extensive knowledge of complex disease processes and related procedures
      - Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Certification as a Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) or Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) through relevant associations
