What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a subject matter expert supporting ambulatory components of the EHR and clinical decision support.
- Collaborate with informatics specialists to design effective workflows and operational processes.
- Conduct data gathering and sophisticated analysis to support leadership decision-making.
- Provide technical expertise to optimize clinical information systems and improve existing electronic information systems.
- Function as a liaison between clinic stakeholders and system build teams for workflow documentation and system needs.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Informatics, or related science OR equivalent education/experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in healthcare or clinical informatics.
- Strong written communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
- Ability to build relationships with customers, executive management, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of health information technology and trends in healthcare.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- EpicCare Ambulatory Certification, Epic Clinical Informaticist Certificate, and/or Applied Health Informatics Certificate.
- Familiarity with EHR systems, preferably Epic.
- Work history in healthcare in a clinical capacity.
