What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct quarterly onsite quality management reviews for HCBS waivers and programs as assigned by state partners
- Determine if services were delivered according to service plans
- Conduct follow-up reviews based on initial results, either onsite or virtually
- Discuss quality management review details with providers and assist in developing action plans
- Provide ongoing education and support to providers regarding the quality management review process and waiver services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4-year or higher degree in a health-related field (e.g., psychology, counseling) and 2+ years of direct experience
- 1+ years of experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be available for occasional travel as required by the role
- Strong understanding of provider manuals and state regulations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in team-based care settings
- Familiarity with Virginia Medicaid processes
- Experience working with long-term care individuals
- Background in managed care environments
