What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct qualification, initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits at research sites in compliance with approved protocols
- Communicate effectively with medical site staff, including clinical research physicians and coordinators
- Verify investigator qualifications and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Perform on-site and remote monitoring activities to identify site deviations and implement corrective actions
- Complete monitoring reports detailing significant findings and recommended actions for compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a health or science-related field
- At least 1 year of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator
- Willingness to travel 60-70% to various locations nationwide
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive to monitoring sites
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft® Office
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with regulatory document review and medical device accountability
- Familiarity with risk-based monitoring approaches and integrated Clinical Trial Management Systems
- Previous involvement in patient recruitment and retention strategies
