What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of clinical trial protocols, budgets, contracts, and associated documentation
- Negotiate clinical trial budgets and payment terms with industry sponsors
- Provide training and guidance on research budgeting and billing policies to staff and investigators
- Track project milestones and maintain accurate study files in compliance with established standards
- Contribute to the development of metrics, procedures, and training materials for the Clinical Trials Office
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in science, business, healthcare administration, or related field
- Minimum of three years' experience in clinical trial budget development and negotiation or related healthcare experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills for effective interaction with diverse audiences
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in business or healthcare administration
- Experience with OnCore or other Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS)
- Coverage analysis certification or ACRP/SOCRA credentialing (CCRC, CCRP)
- Background in accounting and finance
- Experience as a research study coordinator or fiscal specialist in a healthcare setting
