What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct qualification, initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits at research sites in compliance with the approved protocol
- Communicate effectively with medical site staff, including coordinators and clinical research physicians
- Verify investigator qualifications, training, and resources, ensuring adherence to protocols
- Perform on-site and remote monitoring activities to identify site deviations and recommend corrective actions
- Complete monitoring reports summarizing significant findings and recommended actions to secure compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in a health or science-related field
- At least 1 year of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator
- Ability to travel 60-70% to locations nationwide, with some visits conducted remotely
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive to monitoring sites
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft® Office
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in clinical trial management and regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with electronic data capture systems and clinical trial management systems
- Additional certifications related to clinical research (e.g., Clinical Research Associate certification)
- Proven track record of successful patient recruitment and retention strategies
- Experience working with international teams in clinical research settings
