      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Independently direct a team of research staff to coordinate and monitor therapeutic oncology trials from concept through completion
      - Manage timelines, clinical quality assessments, and ensure compliance with federal and local regulatory requirements
      - Serve as the central communications liaison for all clinical trial collaborators, including investigators and funding sponsors
      - Evaluate protocol procedures and ensure regulatory and data compliance across all participating sites
      - Provide first-line supervision and training for research coordinators/monitors and oversee their performance

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study required; Master’s Degree preferred
      - 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in a research-related field
      - 1-2 years of prior supervisory experience preferred
      - Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
      - Ability to effectively supervise and train staff

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Familiarity with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP)
      - Knowledge of current and developing clinical research trends
      - Experience managing multi-center clinical trials funded by NIH or industry standards
