What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the conduct of research on behalf of the Principal Investigator (PI)
- Collaborate with faculty to develop protocols and standard operating procedures
- Oversee regulatory compliance and submissions to the Institutional Review Board (IRB)
- Develop and manage study budgets in collaboration with the finance team
- Supervise and train research staff involved in data management and regulatory issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Five years of related experience in clinical research within an academic, government, or pharmaceutical setting
- Demonstrated supervisory or lead responsibilities
- Additional education may substitute for required experience, as permitted by the employer's equivalency formula
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree in a related field
- Certification as a Clinical Research Professional
- Advanced knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and local regulations
- Formal project management training or certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
