      Job summary

      Are you looking for a new challenge and further develop leadership skills? We are looking for a dynamic leader who is passionate about Intermediate care at Padgate House the ethos is to maximise independence and work with the client based to focus on individual goals.

      Padgate House is a service delivered in collaboration with our local authority partner. Working in partnership with the bed based manager and therapy lead.

      The nursing team lead will:

      Be responsible for the clinical management of the Intermediate Care Nursing Team, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of a high quality timely service to meet commissioner requirements.

      To undertake highly complex clinical assessments and ensure the nursing team provides care in line with Trust and professional body standards.

      Plan capacity and demand to deliver a safe service and contibute to admission avoidance and a timely discharge home.

      Motivate and support the nursing team, inclusive of supervision and staff development to ensure a high standard of care and support to patients.

      Carry out the duties ensuring the service promotes equality and diversity, offering person centred care with dignity and respect.

      To be responsible for the implementation of partner agency and Trust policies and procedures.

      Main duties of the job

      Intermediate care is a service delivered in collaboration with our local authority partner. Working in partnership with the bed based manager, the post holder will:

      To work collaboratively with Intermediate Care Service and Stakeholders to ensure patients needs are met

      To provide leadership and support by promoting professional development and encouraging clinical supervision

      Responsible for own time management and that of the nursing team
