What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer telephones, prioritize clinical triage calls, and follow clinical protocols to coordinate services
- Verify and accurately enter patient demographic information into the electronic health record
- Serve as an escalation point for clinical patient issues and provide clinical advice based on established protocols
- Manage escalated electronic patient messages and prioritize patient needs using clinical judgment
- Accurately document symptoms, nursing assessments, advice provided, and patient responses
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active Registered Nurse licensure in Pennsylvania and New Jersey or other nursing compact states
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in a physician office, home health, critical care, and/or emergency room
- Strong communication skills and a focus on compliance
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and solve problems
- Quality-driven and service-oriented mindset
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a clinical triage role or similar patient-facing position
- Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth systems
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
