      The Strategic Human Resources Coordinator is the ministry lead and primary point of contact for administering the Pacific Leaders Scholarship Program. This position also works with Strategic Human Resource (SHR) Managers and Specialists to coordinate training and orientation programs for staff. The Coordinator assists with training delivery and maintains learning and development records.

      Job Requirements:

      Required Education and Experience

      • Secondary School graduation or equivalent and minimum one year *related experience.


      *Related experience must include the following:

      • Experience in organizing program delivery, events coordination and/or training.
      • Experience in records management.
      • Experience managing multiple branch / program inboxes.
      • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint programs.


      Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

      • Budget administration experience.
      • Experience with virtual collaboration tools/platforms (EG: Zoom, MS Teams, etc.).
      • Experience with any type of Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) system.
      • Two or more years of *related experience.


      Proviso:

      • Occasional travel may be a requirement of this position.

      About this Position:
      This is a temporary appointment until: 06/28/2024
      Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 5 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
      An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
      Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
