      The Administrative Assistant position provides budget and accounting services support for Court Services Branch, Court Administration and BC Sheriff Service employees within the Fraser Region. The position is responsible for ensuring compliance with budget and financial directives and accuracy of payment transactions; timely reporting/request and resolution of facility, communication, and IT needs; and coordination of human resources and other operations support as required. The position is part of the regional executive team, reporting to the Regional Support Services Administrator and Manager of Finance and Administration.

      Job Requirements:
      • Secondary School graduation or equivalent.
      • One (1) year experience in providing budget, financial, facility and operations support services to team members and program managers with a multi-faceted portfolio.
      • Experience with keyboarding, word processing, spread-sheeting, proof-reading, databases, and other standard computer applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
      • Experience in accounting and budgeting.
      • Preference may be given to applicants with a diploma, certificate, or equivalent training in Accounting, Financial Management, or Office Administration.
