      What it's about

      Partners Group operates a leading private debt business platform with US 29 billion of assets under management (as of June 30, 2023) including USD 14 billion of global liguid loan AUM, including 27 US & European Collateralized Loan Obligations ("CLOs"), private liquid credit mandates and open-end and closed-end liquid loan strategies. In this position, you will be an intergral member of the rapidly growing US Liquid Loan team, working closely with the Senior Portfolio Manager across all aspects of US CLO management.

      CLO portfolio management encompasses the creation, structuring and active management of CLOs including but not limited to portfolio construction, sourcing and trading, portfolio management and compliance, marketing, business development and investor relations. Responsibilities will include the daily tracking of portfolio positions and cash balances, trade settlements, trustee reporting, marketing materials, investor relations, portfolio compliance testing and enhancement, and internal reporting. This role will include working with internal and external data systems, third-party service providers, and legal and compliance professionals, to ensure the timely oversight, control, and compliance with CLO portfolio investment parameters, tests, and restrictions.

      Responsibilities

      The person hired for this role will:

      • Assist in growth of PG US CLO platform through portfolio creation, ongoing portfolio monitoring and optimization of existing portfolios.
      • Monitor existing CLOs including performance metrics, compliance tests and daily cash balances.
      • Collaborate closely with credit research team to identify and recommend portfolio enhancement and optimization trades.
      • Run portfolio optimization exercises.
      • Review and sign off on monthly CLO trustee reports.
      • Assist with portfolio level inputs in the creation and updating of marketing materials.
      • Assist monitoring credit risk and relative value across CLOs.
      • Manage trading inputs and provide settlement support and oversight as needed.
      • Provide inputs and responses to investor data inquiries, RFPs, compliance approvals and related matters.
      • Build and maintain investors relationships through participation at conferences and client investor meetings as directed.
      • Work on projects and ad-hoc requests as requested by senior management.

      What we expect
      • Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, economics. MBA or CFA a plus.
      • Minimum of 10-12 years of relevant "buy-side" loan investment management, credit analysis or corporate lending experience. (Experience at a CLO management platform a major plus).
      • CLO portfolio management.
      • Experience reviewing credit agreements, CLO indentures and documents, CLO trustee reports and compliance metrics and rating agency CLO methodologies.
      • Experience using Wall Street Office, Think Folio, Markit, Bloomberg, Kanerai applications, a plus.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with colleagues, existing and prospective investors, trading counterparties and service providers.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and occasional travel.
