What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, implement, and optimize secure cloud database solutions across multi-cloud and hybrid environments
- Collaborate with DevOps, application, and infrastructure teams to align database strategies with enterprise architecture
- Establish and manage data lifecycle policies to ensure data governance and compliance
- Lead migration strategies for legacy databases to modern cloud-native platforms
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and performance tuning of cloud-hosted databases

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7+ years of progressive experience in cloud-based database architecture, design, and administration
- Demonstrated expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and tools
- Strong knowledge of database security, encryption, and compliance requirements in federal environments
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience supporting large-scale government or mission-critical enterprise environments
- Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines and integrating databases into CI/CD workflows
- Knowledge of advanced analytics tools and data visualization platforms
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect Certification
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Implementation Specialist Certification
