      The Cloud Platform Engineering (CPE) team is responsible for the stability, reliability, and availability of the TCGplayer platform, and ensuring robust software delivery of TCGplayer.com technology. The team’s primary function is to increase the efficiency of the organization through well-designed automation and infrastructure.

      We are looking for an experienced Manager of Cloud Operations at TCGplayer to lead a team of Cloud Platform Engineers in a dynamic Agile environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying dependencies, minimizing developer obstacles, and enhancing automation to increase productivity. Experience in enabling software delivery within an AWS cloud environment is essential for this role, as it will help our engineering teams deliver high-quality software efficiently and predictably.       What you will accomplish:

      • Build out and lead the Cloud Operations offshore team, focused on working closely with onshore Cloud Operations to deliver operational excellence.

      • Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.

      • Deliver applications to production, and proactively seek out opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.

      • Ensure the Cloud Operations offshore team adheres to best practices, coding standards, quality standards, and architectural guidelines, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

      • Recruit, onboard, and mentor top engineering talent, building a high-performing team capable of delivering a world-class developer experience.

      • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by regularly soliciting stakeholder feedback and implementing iterative improvements.

      • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation in the Cloud Platform offerings.

      • Review and contribute to developing documentation, tutorials, and training resources to bring Cloud Operations resources up to speed.

      What you will bring:

      • 7+ years of overall experience in software engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Platform roles, with at least 5+ years working with AWS.

      • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform), container orchestration (Kubernetes), Public Cloud operations/management, data security and compliance, all phases of the SDLC?

      • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Argo CD).

      • Agile methodology including using common practices such as workflow management and tracking (Jira), and tracking resource usage.

      • Prior experience in a lead role managing DevOps or Cloud Platform teams is preferred, with a focus on experience administering public cloud infrastructure and systems, and cloud-native technologies

      • Demonstrated success in collaborating effectively across multiple departments to support the delivery of high-profile, cross-functional projects.

      • Ability to lead and mentor globally distributed or offshore teams, including managing performance and building a high-engagement culture in a remote environment. Experience developing and maintaining runbooks, SOPs, technical documentation, and onboarding materials to support scalable global operations.

      • Stakeholder management across regions – Experience with working closely with stakeholders in different regions (e.g., North America, Europe) to align Cloud Operations strategies.

      • Flexibility in working hours (at least 1 hour of overlap with 8-5 Eastern Time)

      • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized university.
