What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide personal care services including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Aid clients with transfers between locations, such as from bed to chair
- Assist with household chores, including laundry, dishwashing, and grocery shopping
- Prepare meals for clients who have difficulty cooking for themselves
- Offer companionship to clients, promoting their self-worth and dignity
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be certified by the state of North Carolina
- Availability to work weekends
- Flexible position to meet client needs
- Ability to read, write, and follow directions
- Capability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and manage the physical demands of patient care
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Personal Care Assistant
- Possession of a car for transportation, though not required
- Familiarity with smartphone technology and email communication
