      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review patient medical records and translate information into codes for insurance claims
      - Confirm treatments with medical staff and identify missing information for reimbursement
      - Provide technical guidance to physicians and staff on coding and documentation issues
      - Audit clinical documentation to ensure compliance with reimbursement and reporting standards
      - Research and analyze discrepancies in coding to prevent future errors

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or Equivalent required
      - Certified Professional Coder - American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) preferred
      - 0-1 year of medical coding experience preferred
      - Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT®, HCPCS, and modifiers for coding
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational abilities

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in medical coding or related roles
      - Familiarity with coding guidelines and legal standards
      - Strong analytical skills to interpret and apply policies and regulations
      - Proficient with computer applications, including MS Office
      - Excellent data entry skills
