      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review medical records to code visits and procedures with high specificity and accuracy
      - Provide education to physicians and healthcare staff regarding correct coding rules and procedures
      - Analyze insurance explanations of benefits and billing correspondence for denials and payment errors
      - Meet productivity and coding accuracy goals as assigned by management
      - Assist with the training of new coding specialists and support denial appeals

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required
      - 1 year of professional coding experience required
      - Must be a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC)
      - Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes and medical terminology
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Associate Degree preferred
      - 2 years of medical billing experience preferred
      - Experience with EPIC software preferred
      - Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
      - Familiarity with virtual meeting applications such as WebEx and Microsoft Teams
