      This is a remote role but the candidate will be expected to live in and service California/West Coast area

      Qualifications

      POSITION REQUIREMENTS

      1. FORMAL EDUCATION:
      • Required:
        • Must have at least a High School diploma or GED
      • Preferred:
        • Have a bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture, marketing, business or a technical field.

      1. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
      • Required:
        • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
        • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
        • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
        • Have at least (5) years of experience in architectural building product sales or specification support
        • Have experience selling to architecture firms.

      • Preferred:
        • Experienced Architectural or Industrial Account Executive
        • Demonstrate a high level of negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
        • Demonstrate ability to build high-level firm relationships.
        • Effective leadership skills and demonstrated ability to direct internal and external teams.
        • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
        • Ability to interact with all field levels, divisional, and group management.

      1. TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
      • Preferred:
        • Architectural, Building and Construction, Steel, Aluminum, or related industry experience required.
        • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others.
        • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
        • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, and consistently meeting deadlines.
        • Results-oriented with a proven track record of successfully supporting sales growth.
        • Develop and foster relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, including peers and management.
        • Facilitate sales and industry presentations.
        • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Digital Marketing) and others as required; create and utilize analytics to measure and track success.
        • Business planning/consulting and financial analysis skills.

      1. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

      50-75%

      Responsibilities

      • As the Enterprise Account Executive, this individual will manage the Coil Architectural relationships for the West Coast, focusing on Top 300.
      • Closely align with Enterprise Specification teammates to identify opportunities, account needs, competitive activity, etc
      • Manage Top Enterprise projects
      • Connect and share project specifications and information with all Sherwin-Williams business units and sales teams to drive sales.
      • Complete CDT and LEED certification in the first year of being in the role.
      • Provide technical and color support for architects, specifiers, and key coil accounts.

      Additional Key Responsibilities

      • Develop and execute a Territory Strategic Business Plan. Make revisions and updates as necessary to achieve specification and market share growth.
      • Represent Sherwin-Williams at local and national industry organizations, such as CSI and AIA
      • Work with architects and specification writers to illustrate SW’s strengths and competitor weaknesses
      • Provide product technical information to support customers' specification requirements.
      • Identify potential opportunities and partner with Sales Representatives to support positive outcomes.
