What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure daily activities contribute to company goals for cash collections and manage accounts receivable over 90 days
- Research outstanding balances and take necessary collection actions to resolve issues promptly
- Resubmit accurate claims in various formats, including CMS-1500 and electronic 837
- Negotiate payment plans with patients in accordance with company policies
- Communicate professionally with colleagues and interact with third-party collection agencies

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; some college education is a plus
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in medical collections with knowledge of managed care and reimbursement processes
- Familiarity with automated billing systems; experience with CPR+ is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in home infusion therapy collections
- Knowledge of ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Ability to type 40 wpm and proficiency with a 10-key calculator
- Understanding of basic accounting practices
- Ability to work independently and interpret information effectively
