What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collect Home Infusion claims, ensuring accuracy and adherence to processes to reduce denial rates and bad debt
- Review outstanding claims and follow up with insurers and patients to collect revenues successfully
- Analyze denial trends and recommend process improvements to enhance collection rates
- Submit appeals for denied claims, verifying insurance information and compiling necessary documentation
- Document case activity and communications to ensure completeness and accuracy of account activity
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-5 years of home infusion billing and/or collections experience required
- High School Diploma and additional specialized training in pharmacy/medical billing and collections
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in home infusion therapy
- Proven understanding of billing and collection processes with all payer types
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain clear, complete records of activities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous remote work experience is a plus
- Detail-oriented with post-billing and post-payment investigative experience
