What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor services with outstanding balances to ensure timely payments
- Submit corrected claims as needed
- Contact insurance companies to obtain payment statuses
- Appeal or dispute claims when payment or final claim status is inappropriate
- Process collections duties accurately and in a timely manner
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of healthcare billing experience
- High-level knowledge of collections and insurance processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Teams
- Ability to pass Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting, drug screen, and local criminal check

- Strong communication skills, both efficient and effective
- Ability to handle multiple project deadlines and goals simultaneously
- Experience in maintaining professional correspondence with clients and colleagues
