What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Work with the sales team to expand market reach and support territory sales
- Conduct course schedule and bookstore research for various projects
- Report new sales leads using Salesforce and manage aspects of the sales pipeline
- Assist the marketing team with sales market research
- Shadow a sales representative mentor during virtual presentations and participate in a mock sales call
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a college student or recent graduate
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently to solve challenges
- Passion for learning and exploring new ideas
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience or coursework related to publishing or sales
- Familiarity with CRM software, particularly Salesforce
- Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and analysis
- Interest in higher education and the publishing industry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
