- Conduct weekly meetings with agents/local sales regarding the performance trends and seeking opportunities for development.
- Quarterly discussions with relevant Business Units on Sale Targets.
- Lead monthly/weekly presentations on market updates, performance, sales targets and service reliability within the Assigned Scope
- Working alongside management in dealing with all relevant countries, to establish goals and targets for services under portfolio and to promote business growth in these areas.
- Works in conjunction with Sales, Countries, Trade Manager to implement and measure business plan.
- Monitor bookings, container movements and volume trends for both import and export within the CCA/PAC Region.
- Review and analyze Demurrage & Detention waivers for your respective countries and present to the Committee for approval Demurrage workflow system approval for all CCA
- Analysis of market /competitor's trends.
- Analysis of opportunities and track customers and agency results versus Budget and Sales Targets.
- Weekly forecasts, monitoring performance, quantities analysis, profit analysis.
- Liaison with BU's top keep tariff tool updates
- Process Rates or SC's for Filling with GSA
- Look for Negative Net Revenue (NOR's )
- Monitor prospect and lost accounts, reporting the opportunities or challenges with agencies and commercial team.
- Evaluate new markets/services.
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Project Management of large-scale, complex projects
- Fluent in English and Spanish (Speaking, reading, and writing)
- 2-3 + years of related experience
- Microsoft Suite (Advance knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint)
- 4 Year college/university - advantage
- Outspoken Sales/Commercial and customer relations
Description
Main Purpose of the Role:
Promote and develop district's commercial performances to meet the budget, target, and management guidelines. Pricing interaction; works with service contracts coordination, and rate requests and strategy. The employee will need to be able to strategically plan and participate in commercial negotiations This role requires to work with trade BU's weekly or monthly with the agents in the district, and key peers to maximize profitability and KPIs. Keeping up to date with what's going on in the markets is essential.
