- Pre-Sales Excellence: Collaborate with our sales teams to win new business opportunities with profitable margins. Your strategic insights and commercial acumen will be key to our success.
- Seamless Handover: Ensure business is contracted accurately, risks are mitigated, and contractual obligations are clear. You'll be the bridge between sales and execution teams, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Strategic Renewals: Lead the charge in securing timely contract renewals, minimizing revenue and margin erosion. Your proactive approach will help us maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to identify and qualify new commercial opportunities.
- Develop and implement winning commercial strategies that optimize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Validate win prices through comprehensive benchmarking, competitor analysis, and customer value identification.
- Negotiate with internal and external suppliers to secure the most cost-effective solutions.
- Create compelling business cases to support new commercial opportunities.
- Ensure all opportunities receive appropriate governance and business approvals.
- Lead negotiations with customers to successfully close deals.
- Ensure agreed commercial terms are accurately captured in contracts, with all risk mitigations identified.
- Document commercial contractual obligations and liabilities, and ensure they are handed over to the appropriate delivery/execution teams.
- Ensure risk mitigation measures are well understood, monitored, and implemented effectively.
- Proven Expertise: At least 6 years of experience in Commercial and/or Contract Management, showcasing your ability to handle diverse commercial scenarios.
- Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated success in planning and executing complex negotiations. Your ability to find pragmatic solutions will help resolve disputes and close deals effectively.
- Compelling Proposals: Talent in structuring and presenting compelling commercial proposals that consider market dynamics, customer needs, and deal profitability for Vodafone.
- Risk Management: Proficiency in evaluating commercial risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies through commercial terms, contract conditions, or delivery methodologies.
- Leadership and Influence: Strong ability to collaborate with and provide commercial thought leadership to various stakeholders. You will have the credibility to influence decision-makers at all levels.
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and convey them effectively.
- Growth Mindset: An open attitude towards new challenges, with a focus on identifying and implementing business improvement activities.
- Team Spirit: A true team player who is willing to share experiences and coach and mentor colleagues to foster a collaborative environment.
- Industry Experience: While telco and IT experience is desirable, we value a diverse background and the ability to adapt to our industry.
- Financial Acumen: Strong financial skills, including the ability to structure cash flow models and associated KPIs.
