      Do your bit by joining our growing Commercial Management team as a Senior Quantity Surveyor. Working in our internal delivery team, you’ll be responsible for managing Scottish Water’s contracts and the associated commercial procedures and policies. You will report to the Commercial Team Leader and will be based in our Inverness office on a Hybrid working basis.

      About the role

      As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will provide commercial support on financial, commercial and contractual matters, including:

      • Ensuring ‘budget to build’ is adhered to and reported accurately and timeously.

      • Analysing and producing commercial and contractual information in a timely manner, to ensure compliance with the programme constraints.

      • Supporting the Commercial and Project Management Teams, providing and implementing the management and control of risk.

      • Supporting and assisting the Commercial and Project Management Teams in the implementation of strategic commercial procedures, practices and policies.

      • Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with SW Project delivery teams, internal and external delivery partners and the supply chain.

      • Ensuring contract documents are prepared in accordance with best practice and SW procedures and are fully executed prior to project commencement.

      • Ensuring appropriate methods are in place to identify change, implementing the change control process and agreement in line with contract requirements and commercial procedures.

      What you’ll need

      You will need to have experience in commercial management at a project level, be an excellent communicator with a relevant Quantity Surveying qualification and experience.

      Experience in the use of commercial software packages and a high level of IT competence is desirable. Experience and knowledge of NEC contracts is preferable however full training will be provided.

      What you’ll get

      The salary range for this position is £35,384 - £47,924 depending on experience .
