What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform on-site inspection, validation, functional testing, verification, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical equipment
- Develop commissioning plans and prepare pre-functional checklists and functional performance test scripts
- Review and analyze shop drawings, submittals, and sequence of operations for design discrepancies
- Serve as a key contributor to project progress reports and maintain accurate test logs and inspection records
- Direct vendors and contractors in the execution of testing and manage project timelines and deliverables
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or a related discipline, or two years of experience in installation, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of mechanical, controls, and/or electrical infrastructure
- Minimum five years of additional experience in the same field
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls system principles
- Skilled in using MS Office Suite and exceptional organizational skills for file management
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms, including technical and non-technical information
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to optimize operational processes
- Experience in managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a remote work environment
- Certification in NFPA 70E and/or OSHA training as required
