What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, write, and manage content across various platforms, including websites, newsletters, social media, and print materials
- Translate complex public health topics into clear and engaging messages for diverse audiences
- Assist in creating content that meets digital accessibility requirements
- Support the planning and execution of public health and marketing campaigns
- Track and monitor campaign performance metrics to enhance engagement and effectiveness
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in public health, nonprofit, or government communications
- Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, with graphic design samples required
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects in a remote work environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with digital accessibility requirements (WCAG 2.1 / Section 508)
- Understanding of cultural competency and sensitivity in public health communications
- A collaborative and innovative team member with strong problem-solving skills
