      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist in coordinating community engagement efforts by supporting the design and delivery of accessible strategies for City programs and projects
      - Provide logistical and administrative support for public engagement activities such as pop-up events, listening sessions, and workshops
      - Contribute to department-led training by preparing materials and supporting facilitation
      - Track, organize, and summarize feedback and demographic data from engagement activities
      - Build foundational relationships with internal staff, residents, and community partners to support trust-building and participation

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Public Affairs, Public Administration, or a related field
      - 3 to 5 years of experience in program planning, neighborhood outreach, community relations, or a related field
      - Valid North Carolina Class C Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record, or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire
      - Strong interpersonal skills to build trust across departments and communities
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools like Teams, Asana, or engagement platforms

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bilingual (Spanish or another community-relevant language)
      - Experience supporting internal capacity-building efforts such as coaching, facilitation, and training
      - Familiarity with engagement strategies that support community leadership
      - Ability to create accessible materials and tools for staff and public use
      - Experience managing multiple projects with a focus on quality and collaboration
