Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities and efforts of the Team Members in a specific Tyson complex in order to produce profitable quality products within a safe environment and in a timely manner that meets the needs of the customer. This position is also responsible for leading the Food Service operations team at this location to achieve operational metrics established with the SVP of the Business Unit and to provide our customers exceptional quality and service in alignment with Tyson Foods core values cultural tenets BGREAT strategy. Responsibilities include: coordinating production units to achieve company-wide and individual complex goals with a minimum amount of waste or rework; establishing complex objectives; identifying the requirements to meet production needs; providing leadership direction in establishing a safe environment and a Good Neighbor policy with the community. Other responsibilities include providing direction and assisting in the development of managers that can be promoted to higher levels of responsibility; ensuring company personnel and benefit policies are implemented properly; evaluating various capital projects submitted by management to determine their feasibility; approving all new hires and overseeing personnel salaries and wages; performing other responsibilities as the need arises. This position is also responsible for food safety food quality and legality. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor s degree or equivalent preferred. Experience: 10 plus years minimum experience in live and plant operations and technical skills preferred. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for example; checking electronic mail entering data into document templates or creating simple queries. Travel: 12 plus trips per year. Supervisory Skills: This position is responsible for managing multiple groups of personnel who perform dissimilar tasks and activities in several different departments.
