What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and submit applications for mortgage lender or general business licensing for the company
- Monitor continuing education requirements for MLOs and ensure they are met prior to company license renewal
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and license renewals
- Maintain a tracking system to monitor deadlines and due dates of various filings and renewals
- Provide responsive, courteous, and knowledgeable service to Branches and internal departments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree; along with a minimum of 1+ years of compliance experience
- General knowledge of the overall mortgage lending process; prior NMLS or mortgage-related industry experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong detail orientation and highly organized
- Prior experience using PDF/Adobe programs and Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with analyzing data, including the Mortgage Call Report and state-specific mortgage-related activity reports
- Related coursework in Business, Finance, and/or Legal
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Prior experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
