      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct on-site surveys and audits of healthcare facilities to ensure compliance with regulations
      - Coordinate investigations of noncompliance in facilities and community programs
      - Manage data and quality assurance functions related to compliance
      - Develop and implement utilization review processes to ensure quality services
      - Review applications and documentation for accuracy and compliance with guidelines

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or GED with three (3) years of job-related experience
      - Valid Georgia driver's license and ability to drive within Georgia
      - Experience at the lower level Compliance Specialist 1 or equivalent
      - Successful completion of preparatory training, including the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test within the first 12 months
      - Ability to perform investigations and audits according to established rules and regulations

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Certification(s) and/or degree in related healthcare fields
      - Experience in home health, hospice, or other licensed healthcare facilities
      - Background as a Registered Nurse/LPN in a healthcare setting
      - Experience in utilization review and quality assurance
      - Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
