Sodexo Campus Segment is seeking a Concessions Manager 2 at the reknown Gonzaga McCartney Athletic Center, in Spokane, WA. Gonzaga University is one of our longest partnerships, and is one of Sodexo's Centers of Excellence! The Concessions Manager will be focused on driving sales and the fan experience through customer service and client relations/satisfaction. This position requires exceptional concessions background in large stadium and arena settings and will be responsible for the oversight of concerts, basketball games and special events at the arena as well as assisting with football, baseball, softball, and soccer game day operations.
The Concession Manager is a highly visible position and will be responsible for daily contact with Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) and 3rd party vendors; scheduling; training and managing volunteers to operate event day sales; cash handling, balancing end of shift reports; management of special events; HACCP/Sanitation and cost controls; ordering and stocking concession stands and carts with the proper counts and products; managing and maintaining inventory.
Success in the position is predicated on organization, planning, driving innovation, and great customer service skills. The ability to develop strong client relations is essential along with attention to detail and knowledge of unit finances.

Position Summary
Provides supervision for food preparation and service operations in a concessions account/unit (i.e., stadiums, amusement parks) to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the Company. Contributes to account revenue and operating profit contribution through cost containment and safety. Key Duties-Utilizes Sodexo resources, systems and programs to direct daily operations including; food production, stand inventory, product deliveries, invoices, and procurement operations. -Directs daily operations in a concessions account/unit to ensure employees, NPO (non-profit organizations) groups and 3rd party vendors (if applicable) have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources to perform their job, and meet goals, cost controls and deadlines as assigned.-Ensures that concessions area, equipment and storage facilities are sanitary, neat and organized. Drives a Zero Harm mindset by maintaining a safe work environment including both food and physical safety in order to comply with all regulatory and Sodexo standards. -Complies with budget requirements by controlling costs (i.e. labor, inventory, equipment, materials) and making adjustments when necessary-Supervises employees, NPO groups and 3rd party vendors by delegating, assigning and prioritizing activities, and monitoring operating standards to ensures that employees demonstrate an active customer hospitality orientation toward customers and clients.
