CWI Works is recruiting for a Conservation Support Specialist position within the FWS Experienced Services (ESP) Program through a grant administered program which provides support to the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI). Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States. Selected candidates will also be required to undergo a federal security background check.
Role and Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for refuge planning and compliance, with a primary focus on Compatibility Determinations and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) document review.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Successful candidates must be 55 years of age or older, eligible to work in the United States, and able to successfully complete a Federal security background check. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in an Environmental or Resource-related field and a minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience, including experience in conservation planning or environmental review. Candidates should also have experience using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Strong analytical, research, written communication, and document-review skills are preferred. This position offers remote work flexibility.
Hours & Compensation:
Part-Time position working 20 hours per week @ $35.00.About the company
