      The Administrative Assistant will be reporting to Deputy Project and Assistant Project Managers along with other staff, this position will be part of the Client’s Program management team and work in their office supporting the Project Manager(s) managing public projects. This will include administrative duties involving Design and Procurement and oversight of the project from inception through occupancy. This position is a support position to the Assistant Project Manager. The AA will address, and complete various tasks as required and directed by the APM. All these tasks are a necessary part of Project Management and are delegated as necessary to allow the Project Manager to cover a larger workload.

      salary: $22 - $25 per hour
      shift: First
      work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

      Responsibilities

      The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for coordinating meetings, creating agendas, recording minutes, developing reports, reviewing information, preparing data, and distributing/controlling documents. • Provide assistance to the PM/APM related to cost management including review of change proposals and invoices. • Provide assistance with project controls at the project level to support the PM/APM’s role in managing schedule and cost. • Attends assigned meetings along with the PM/APM to cover weekly job progress meetings, and issues meeting minutes during design. • Assists with the Field Representative(s) to ensure that all projects are visited on a regular basis. • Ability to multitask and work in a fast pace environment Qualifications • 1 plus year of experience as an Administrative Assistant in an Owner, Architecture, Engineering, Environmental, or Construction organization preferred. • Working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building preferred.
